Nelson Mandela.

I am shocked by this sad news. Nelson Mandela was a South African national hero and icon of the struggle against the racist apartheid regime. He died on Thursday, December 5, at age 95, after battling health problems often associated with his 27 years of imprisonment and hard labor in the limestone quarries of Robben Island jobs.
President of South Africa between 1994 and 1999, Mandela fought hard against the apartheid regime of racial segregation in this country, made official in 1948. Released in 1990, four years later became the first black president of his country, having won the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize for leading successful negotiations instituted democracy. On 10 November 2009 the General Assembly of the United Nations established on 18 July as Nelson Mandela International Day.

Everyone mourns his death, and South Africa, these days celebrates what Madiba (named there) made by all.

Rest in peace.
